Collect, interpret, evaluate and communicate information mathematically;
Present information for a variety of audiences using a variety of techniques;
Understand how primary data, including digital data, are transferred into graphs, and charts.

Key Learnings (Benchmarks)

Novice Level

Uses information from a simple database and/or spreadsheet by making observations based on that information.

Intermediate Level

Is able to add to and manipulate information in a pre-designed spreadsheet or database.

Advanced Level

Collects data electronically and organizes information in spreadsheet or database format for ease of retrieval. With teacher guidance, interprets and displays results in multiple formats.

Superior Level

Independently chooses data collection method and designs spreadsheet and database when appropriate to analyze and present information.
