You may contact a teacher, administrator, or the Office of Special Services to request this service.
A
teacher or administrator might call you and ask if you would like to have this
service.
If
you would like to have a S.M.A.R.T. team for your child, a meeting will be arranged
for a time and place that meets your needs. You, a parent advocate, appropriate providers
and school personnel will discuss your child’s emotional or behavioral needs
at this meeting.
We
will decide together what steps need to be taken to secure services
Providers
and school administrators will help you to obtain services or will take responsibility
to secure services.
You may cancel the S.M.A.R.T. process
at any time.
