S.M.A.R.T. teams:  are each formed to fit YOUR child’s and family’s needs,

• only meet for your child’s and family’s needs IF YOU WANT IT TO,
• ONLY meet when you, the parent, participate,
• are NOT disciplinary committees,
• do not cost anything but your time.

Who is on the SMART team?

In addition to school personnel and you, the parent, S.M.A.R.T. teams may include:

health services providers
mental health providers
social service providers
parent advocates 
community policing
substance abuse counselors
other providers as needed.
