Moore Teachers To Hold ‘Teacher Travel Show & Tell’ Jan. 19
A number of Lyman Moore Middle School teachers have traveled to various countries around the world and are using their experience to inform their teaching. Now, on Thursday, Jan. 19, they’ll share their travel experiences with the community at a Teacher Travel Show & Tell night.
The teachers will explain how their world travels have impacted their everyday lives as classroom teachers. The event will take place at Lyman Moore, located at 171 Auburn St., from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The show is free and open to everyone.
Hosted by indoor track coach and educational technician David Aguirre and featuring original songs by the Fletcher Brothers band, the show will feature short presentations by some of the Lyman Moore staff that have traveled the world. Want to see Ms. Foster’s pictures from Bahrain? Wondering what it was like for Mr. Lemont to teach in China? Want to see Mr. Miller tear up as he talks about volunteer work in Guatemala?
Don’t miss this show. For more information, contact social studies teacher David Hilton at firstname.lastname@example.org or (207) 874-8150.
